CAIC developed Climate Change and AI: Recommendations for Government Actiona report for the Global Partnership on AI that sets out the opportunities for how AI can support action on climate change and what governments can do to facilitate work in this space.

The Rationale for the Centre for AI & Climate sets out the case for what is required to support the application of data science and AI to climate challenges and why a new institution is needed.

On June 16th 2020, a coalition of tech and energy companies, together with NGOs and scientists wrote a letter to the PM urging him to support the  Centre for AI & Climate.

The CAIC Delivery Plan sets out the functions and outputs that the Centre would seek to deliver and describes the governance structures, budget and timeline for the Centre.
