​The Rationale for the Centre for AI & Climate sets out the case for what is required to support the application of data science and AI to climate challenges and why a new institution is needed.

On June 16th 2020, a coalition of tech and energy companies, together with NGOs and scientists wrote a letter to the PM urging him to support the  Centre for AI & Climate.

The CAIC Delivery Plan sets out the functions and outputs that the Centre would seek to deliver and describes the governance structures, budget and timeline for the Centre.

On July 7th 2020, the Rt Hon. Kwasi Kwarteng MP, Minister of State for Business, Energy and Clean Growth responded to our letter.
