Deadline for Applications: rolling

Term: Temporary with potential for transition to permanent

We are looking for an skilled data analyst intern to help us bring together the world's electricity infrastructure data. You can be based in any country around the world but will be working closely with our team in the UK and interfacing with our international partners.

About the Centre for AI & Climate:

We are a non-profit company building the tools that enable the application of machine learning and AI to accelerate climate action. We are a growing team dedicated to finding the most strategic uses for machine learning to support climate action. We build the digital tools and resources necessary to support the development of machine learning driven climate applications.

About the project:

One of the most significant challenges in applying AI to climate action is being able to find and access the data required. To address this, we are working on the development of an online data platform that brings together data from a range of sectors, and makes it easy to find and access data relevant to the transition to net zero. We are initially focussed on bringing together data on the electricity sector.

This project is being funded by the UK Government and supported by the Canadian Government, and is being delivered in partnership with CEIMIA, a Canadian AI Centre of excellence.
