Salary: Competitive

Deadline for Applications: 20 April

About the Centre for AI & Climate:

We are a non-profit company building the tools that enable the application of machine learning and AI to accelerate climate action. We are a growing team dedicated to finding the most strategic uses for machine learning to support climate action. We build the digital tools and resources necessary to support the development of machine learning driven climate applications.

About the project:

One of the most significant challenges in applying AI to climate action is being able to find and access the data required. To address this, we are working on the development of an online data platform that brings together data from a range of sectors, and makes it easy to find and access data relevant to the transition to net zero.

This project is being funded by the UK Government and supported by the Canadian Government, and is being delivered in partnership with CEIMIA, a Canadian AI Centre of excellence. The Product Manager will lead the development of the product for the Centre for AI & Climate.

  • Manage the input from a front end designer, a front-end developer, a back-end developer to identify, define, design and prioritise product feature development

  • Manage input from data specialists to identify and integrate data sources for the catalogue

  • Manage input from a large language model (LLM) specialist to integrate conversational interface for the catalogue

  • Work with the CAIC Executive Director in engaging with international project partners
